Referral guidelines

Bring your people to Quasar Markets. Here is how referrals work, what counts, and what you earn.

When five people you invite have each paid for a full month, you get a month free.

When five people you invite pay for a full year, you get a year free.

How to invite

  • Press Referral in the toolbar at the bottom of your screen.
  • Send an email to one person or a few, share your link, or show it as a QR code. Teachers, creators and companies can also send to a whole list (see Bring a whole group).
  • Each person gets your invitation and one reminder. Nothing else.
  • Joining Quasar Markets is free.

What you earn

  • Every five paid accounts that count earn you a month free. Ten earn two. There is no limit.
  • Every five that pay for a full year earn you a year free.
  • Yearly accounts count toward a free month too, until five of them make a free year.
  • Quasar Markets is $25 a month, so each paying person you bring in is worth $5 of free time to you.
You would earn 2 free months. Those months are worth $50 at $25 a month.

Bring a whole group

  • Teachers, creators and companies: write to us and we will turn on lists for your account. Then upload a spreadsheet of your class, your members or your team, and each person gets your invitation.
  • If you run a chat room on Quasar Markets, the people you invite can come straight into it.
  • On a stage, a slide or a screen: show your QR code from the Share a link tab. People point a phone camera at it and join with your invite.

What counts

  • The person makes their account with your invite: your email, your link, your QR code or your video.
  • They are on a paid plan, and they have paid for a full month (30 days) without a refund.
  • Each person counts once, and for one member: the first whose invite they used.
  • Referrals are for Quasar Markets accounts only.

What does not count

  • Free accounts.
  • A payment that is refunded or charged back in its first month.
  • Your own accounts, or accounts made for you.
  • People who were already members.
  • Accounts made only to earn rewards.

Getting your free time

  • We email you when someone you invited joins, when they start paying, when they count, and when you earn. For a list you upload, we email you only when you earn.
  • Your free month or free year is added to your plan.
  • Free time has no cash value and cannot be given to someone else.

Invite the right way

  • Invite people who know you and want to hear from you.
  • When you upload a list, use only people who agreed to hear from you, such as your own students or members.
  • Talk about what Quasar Markets does. Do not promise anyone returns or tell them what to buy.
  • When you share your link in public, say that you get free time when people you invite pay.
  • Do not post your link as spam, or run paid ads that use the Quasar Markets name.
  • Anyone can stop invitations with one click, and we will not email them again.

Privacy

  • We use the addresses you give us only to send your invitation and one reminder.
  • Anything else in a list you upload stays private to Quasar Markets.
  • We never sell them, and we remove a person's details when they ask.

Fair play

  • We may hold back or take back rewards earned against these guidelines.
  • We may change or end the program. Free time you have already earned stays yours.

Questions

When do I get my free month?

As soon as your fifth paid account has paid for a full month. We email you, and the month is added to your plan.

Someone joined with my invite but does not count yet.

Joining is free and does not count. They count once they are on a paid plan and have paid for a full month.

Someone signed up without my invite.

We can only credit people who join with your invite: your email, your link, your QR code or your video. If they used another member's invite first, that member is credited.

Is there a limit to how much I can earn?

No. Every five paid accounts earn another free month, and every five yearly accounts another free year.

Do the people I invite get anything?

Joining Quasar Markets is free for them. The free months are yours.

What if someone I invited asks for a refund?

A payment refunded in its first month never counts. That is why each one counts only after a full month. One refunded later does not take back what you have earned, but your next free month needs one more paid account.

Can I invite people who already have an account?

You can, but they will not count. Referrals are for people new to Quasar Markets.

Can I post my link on social media?

Yes. Anyone who joins with your link counts as your invite. Say that you get free time when people you invite pay, and please do not post it as spam.

Someone asked not to be emailed.

Every invitation has a one click way out. Once someone uses it, we never email them again, whoever invites them.
